About
I grew up in Stockholm, Sweden. After art college, Konstskolan i Stockholm, I felt a calling to travel: eventually I ended up Scotland which became my home base for a decade. There’s just something with the Celtic culture that speaks to my heart more than any other. I’ve always loved the sound of folk music, flutes and bagpipes. The mythical Celtic tales and the wild green hills, mountains and lochs that still holds the ancient atmosphere of past magic.
Early on I felt that doing things just the classical way in art that we where shown, didn’t quench my thirst to produce something more tangible. When I started with the collages I found that drawing and experimenting with different forms of colors, compositions and patterned paper, gave me a more limitless feeling when making art. I believe creating as an artist is a balance of intuition and technique, blending personal expression with a willingness to adapt and expand.
Through my art I yearn to move other people to ignite their own zest for life and creativity. Embracing and merging the multilayered experiences in life, transcendence is perhaps one of the hardest challenges for us as human beings. Through inspired imagination I believe we come home to one another.
